Sarah Hirsch is an Associate Principal and BNIM’s Director of Technical Services. Sarah directs the firm’s technical processes and works with design teams and individuals across BNIM to advance building information modeling, quality assurance, project management, and sustainability. Sarah has contributed to a wide variety of project types with a diverse range of clients including governmental, cultural, corporate, institutional, retail, and residential. With a focus on specification writing and coordination of contract documents, Sarah provides a vast knowledge of materials and systems. Many of her projects focus on integrating sustainable design including multiple building designed to achieve Living Building Status. Sarah has played a key role in developing BNIM’s sustainability master specification and is working with teams to incorporate compliance with LEED v4 into their projects.
