Jonathan Ramsey

Jonathan Ramsey is a Principal and experienced design leader at BNIM. Drawing on his post-graduate work in leadership studies and with over 25 years in the industry, he is a trusted advisor to clients and collaborators. He approaches each of his projects with a goal of enabling the client’s mission through high-performing, integrated design that results in human-centered solutions to complex problem while maintaining the budget. Jonathan has led many notable BNIM projects, including the new addition to the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum and Folk Art School, several projects for MidAmerican Energy, and the University of Iowa. Jonathan received a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University. His work has been recognized with over 50 significant awards from organizations including the American Institute of Architects Iowa and Central States chapters and the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre of Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
