April Darbyshire

April is an architect in the BNIM Kansas City office. April’s leadership style, integrated approach to design excellence, and generosity in her mentorship contribute greatly to BNIM’s core values as a practice. April’s work includes Missouri State University’s Ozarks Education Center at Bull Shoals Field Station, Johnson County Community College Career and Technical Education Center and Fine Arts and Design Studios, Westport Commons, and the Center for Connected Learning at Moffitt Library for UC Berkeley.
Recently, April served as a key team leader on a new complex for BOK Financial in Kansas City, MO. This project provides a new full-service banking and office space implements sustainable strategies and establishes an engaging presence in the Crossroads District of Kansas City.
During her time at BNIM, April has contributed to our BIM practice within our office. Outside of work, April serves as the Board Chair for Hope Builders Non-profit.
