Tina Wehrman appointed to Equity Committee with the Ankeny Community School District

Tina Wehrman, NCIDQ LEED AP, Associate Principal and Director of Interiors at BNIM, was recently appointed to the Equity Committee with the Ankeny Community School District. In this role, Tina will join the committee in advising on and supporting the Ankeny Community School District’s efforts to live out its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as outlined in the DEI framework.

Known by peers and clients as a reliable, creative, and resourceful leader, Tina is called upon by many of BNIM’s studios to contribute her knowledge and skills. Following work on The Tom and Ruth Harkin Center for The Harkin Institute on Drake University campus, which serves as a new model for inclusive design, Tina has been instrumental in BNIM’s efforts to advance inclusive design within our practice and industry.

Leveraging the guiding principles shared in BNIM’s collaborative publication with The Harkin Institute and MillerKnoll, ALL, Tina works with our design teams, clients, and collaborators to help inform key strategies of inclusive design within our projects.
