Kayla Berkson appointed to Des Moines City Plan + Zoning Commission

Kayla Berkson, AIA, was recently appointed to serve on the City of Des Moines Plan and Zoning Commission. In her five-year term, Kayla will hold an active role as member of the Plan and Zoning Commission in helping shape policy, planning, zoning, and public improvements in Des Moines, IA. As an architect in BNIM’s Des Moines office, Kayla has also been involved in the American Institute of Architects at the local and regional level, having served as the AIA Central States Regional Associate Director and co-chair of the AIA Central States Emerging Professionals Committee.
