Jamie Kluesner appointed to Overland Park Environmental Advisory Council
Jamie Kluesner has been appointed to Overland Park’s Environmental Advisory Council with a unanimous vote. In her two-year appointment, Jamie is contributing to the study of environmental issues and the implementation of programs that focus on environmental awareness and minimizing environmental impact for the City of Overland Park, which is the second largest city in Kansas. The Environmental Advisory Council’s work helps advise the City Council and the Community Development Committee.
“I’m very excited to bring my passion surrounding environmental issues and solutions to the Overland Park Environmental Advisory Council. I am eager to expand my knowledge about new things including environmental initiatives around our city. This group of individuals is passionate, knowledgeable and resourceful in finding the right programs and assets for the city. I am encouraged that our council will bring great ideas to the city council this year. Jamie has also held an integral role in implementing sustainable practices within BNIM’s Kansas City office, including overseeing educational sessions and the development of signage to direct BNIM’s waste management, recycling, and composting initiatives.
