A central area of BNIM’s work and expertise is the design of innovative facilities and planning for Municipal, State, and Federal governmental entities. BNIM has led more than 150 projects for municipalities all over the country, focused on enhancing sustainable design integration, building and site performance, and positive human and community impacts. Our municipal projects have ranged from city hall renovations to new office facilities, building renovations, and additions, landscape and streetscape transformations, sustainable infrastructure, comprehensive master planning efforts, parks and trails, and art museums.

The Civic building and plaza are envisioned as catalysts for growth in the downtown region as they attract residents to the new downtown plaza along with community gathering and retail space amenities offered at the ground floor of the building, providing opportunities for activation and transformation within the downtown core.

Greensburg, KS Sustainable Comprehensive Master Plan

Integrating a high level of collaboration with the entire community, including City officials, City staff, Steering Committee members, and other stakeholders, the Greensburg Master Plan addressed the City's most pressing development needs.
