Pacific Center Campus recognized with Architizer A+Award Special Mention

Pacific Center Campus received a Special Mention in the Architizer A+Awards for the Office - Mid Rise (5-15 Floors) category. The jury acknowledged outstanding entries as Special Mentions, alongside A+Award Finalists and Winners. Architizer A+Award Special Mention honorees are considered industry leaders for architecture and design worldwide. The Pacific Center Campus Development (PCCD), located in San Diego, Calif., was a transformative project for a major Fortune 500 technology company in setting a new standard and benchmark for its future of workplace. The project included a Research and Development (R+D) Building, an Amenities Building, and a complete site transformation. The new buildings provide space for 1,200 software and hardware engineers who are developing some of the most widely utilized semiconductor products in the world. With this new innovative workplace development, the company shifted to creating purpose-built facilities that enhance employee wellbeing, health, and productivity.

The Architizer A+Award Special Mentions and winners were chosen by an illustrious jury including such industry luminaries as Denise Scott Brown, Bjarke Ingels and Tom Kundig, as well as personalities from beyond architecture like Tony Hsieh (CEO, Zappos), Yves Behar (Fuseproject), John Edelman (CEO, Design Within Reach), Cameron Sinclair (Architecture for Humanity) and Barry Bergdoll (MoMA).
