Dev Malik, AIA Returns as Chief Operating Officer
Kansas City, Mo. (October 28, 2013) — BNIM today announced Dev Malik, AIA has rejoined BNIM as Chief Operating Officer. Malik brings more than 30 years of experience leading the business and management of operations in the architecture industry. Malik previously worked for BNIM from 1983– 2010, and rejoins BNIM after three years as Operations Manager at HNTB.

Malik will serve as a member of BNIM’s Executive Committee and oversee overarching firm management. His business acumen and architectural training will play a key role in moving high performance integrated design to higher levels at BNIM. He is particularly knowledgeable regarding information and design technology, in which capacity he will establish and implement information technology strategy to maintain the firm’s commitment to leadership and pioneering methods of empowering technology in sustainable design.
Malik studied architecture as an undergraduate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he holds a Bachelor of Applied Science. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University Missouri – Kansas City Bloch School of Management.
